Last week saw the "Autumn Exhibition 2015" of children's book illustrations at Waterstones, Piccadilly, London.
I am very pleased to show some original artwork of "My name is Mr Fox", together with illustrations by Alex Scheffler, Lucy Cousins, Chris Riddell, Anthony Brown and others; organised by Linda Owen-Lloyd of Children's Book Illustration.
And no other than Klaus Flugge, publisher of Anderson Press (Elmar the Elephant etc) bought my original illustration of Mr Fox at the private view. At the launchwere, Klaus, Justine Smith (publisher of Templar, where I will publish "Spacedog" next autumn) and Suzanne Carnell (publisher Macmillan, where "My name is Mr Fox" got published a few years ago), and myself, chatting and drinking. Well done to everyone at Children's Books Illustration!
